although many researchers have written about WiMAX IEEE 802.16e Standard system, it needs more attention and analysis in next generation wireless networks. Multiple Input Multiple Output-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) has become one of the key technologies for the B 3G & 4G broadband wireless communications. This paper is aimed at studying the performance analysis of OFD...
متن کاملChannel estimation and equalization for fixed/mobile OFDM WiMAX system in simulink
WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) is a technology for wireless broadband and the core technique for the fourth-generation (4G) wireless mobile communications. However it still facing real challenge for low complexity and efficient system implementation. It supports non-line-of-sight environment with high data rate transmission and high mobility up to 125 Km/hr. WiMAX adopt...
متن کاملA Cooperative MIMO Mobile Multihop Relay for Cellular Networks
In this paper, we present an analysis of mobile multihop relay (MMR) technology using cooperative multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) transmission. New wireless broadband protocols, such as WiMAX, and 3G-LTE apply MIMO technology, and mobile communication protocols under standardization are investigating MMR as a future technology to use. These two technologies are expected to be among the mo...
متن کاملPERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF MULTIPLE ANTENNA TECHNIQUES IN WiMAX
The modern wireless systems are required to have high voice quality and data rate. Since our concern is most with scattering environment, antenna diversity is a practically effective and widely applied technique to reduce the effect of multipath fading. In this regard, Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) techniques are an essential part of the IEEE 802.16e-2005 specifications, which form the ...
